The Grodan rockwool planting block is a support for germinating seeds and rooting seedlings and cuttings.
The rockwool planting blocks are used as supports for hydroponic cultivation, as thanks to their mineral composition they are inert, making them a clean and safe support system.
For a good use of the planting blocks, we advise you to soak them in pH water (5.2 or 5.3) 24 hours before use in order to lower the high pH level they are manufactured with.
It is used both for germination and for transplanting bare-root plants.
This type of plugs have a central hole.
These holes in the plugs can accommodate the rockwool plugs of the 77 cell trays when transplanting.
