ELITE 91 Clones
Clones by Elite 91 is a liquid rooting compound that combines 2 root inducing hormones, ideal for professional plant propagators. It comes in liquid form for more even distribution and absorption of the rooting hormones. Absorbing directly into the cutting tissue and immediately activating root development. Clones does not need to be diluted, rinsed or cleaned. It is easy to use, as it can be dosed directly from the bottle. Clones is extremely potent and effective, just a 5 second dip in the compound and the roots are ready to reproduce and fortify.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION
- Ready to use. No need to dilute. Pour a small amount of Clones into a small, clean container.
- Using a scalpel, razor or clean, disinfected scissors, cut a cutting from a healthy, disease-free mother plant directly below the node at a 45-degree angle. Remove large leaves or cut them in half to prevent water loss through transpiration. The cutting is less likely to wilt. (OPTIONAL: GROWER’S TIP – Very gently scrape or shave the epidermal layer of the cutting stem about 2.5 cm high, all the way around, exposing the cambium (light green) layer of the cutting stem. This is the optimal method to trigger and focus the response of the cutting to form healthy adventitious roots along the base).
- Immediately immerse the cuttings stem in Clones to the optimum rooting depth for at least 5 seconds (OPTIMAL – 1.25 to 2.50 cm high from the base for 5 to 20 seconds for softwood plants and 10 to 30 seconds for hardwood plants).
- Insert the plant cutting into a moist growing medium of your choice. (OPTIMAL – Use a plant propagation kit with a transparent humidity dome, maintaining an ideal environment with temperatures ranging from 22 to 25°C and a high humidity of 80 per cent or more with good air circulation and lighting). GROWER’S TIP – In conjunction with the removal of cuttings, soak your preferred choice of growing medium using a light-based nutrient solution and REF:7001410 at 1 – 10 ml per 3.785 l of water to protect, stimulate and enhance vitality
